Dues run from January 1” to December 31” each year. Meeting Minutes – Suncoast Corvair Club -

The meeting was brought to order by President Jim Worthington at 9:30am. We had 21 members present. A motion was made by Mark Winther and seconded by Bob Bentz to accept the minutes as printed in the Vair Air. The Treasurer’s report was given by Carol Smith. A motion was made by Bill Harris and seconded by Wayde Ullery to accept the Treasurer’s report.
Old Business- Dues are due. Please see the treasurer, Carol. If you have any changes to your address, email, or phone number, please let Carol know before the new member’s list goes out. Joe Brown sold the club race car. The St. Pete Pier put on an all OM car show. There were 3 Corvairs that came out. Jim Worthington, Mark Winther and Mike Mauro. The weather was great. Mark won Best Chevrolet in the show. Congratulations! Rodney and Carol Smith attended the Ronnie Sesser cruise-in at the Green Iguana. They had a great time. The club picnic is May 14th at the John Chestnut Park in Palm Harbor. The food list will be passed around at the next meeting, April 9th. Also don’t forget to bring door prizes to the picnic.
New Business – Send any pictures to Beth Winther for web site. The web site is up and running. We are going to post the newsletter on the website. This might be your last printed copy, if all works out. This way the website will generate more activity per month. More details at the meeting. Mike Johnston’s car has been painted but still needs some detailing. Rodney Smith is now doing Corvair repairs. If you need anything done, see Rodney. The 50/50 was won by Tina Melerine. Congratulations!! Motion was made to adjourn by Wade Ullery at 10:05 am and seconded by Miriam Blohm.
